Trekking in Nurata Mountains

Arrival in Tashkent. The passage of the passport and customs control. Transfer to the hotel and hotel accommodation. After breakfast, you will start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. You will visit the famous sights of Tashkent: the ensemble Khast Imam (2007), including the library of Oriental manuscripts, where Quran of caliph Usman is kept, a continuation of the tour to the biggest bazaar of Tashkent – Chorsu. The descent to Tashkent underground where each station attracts attention by its design. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch continuation of the tour around the modern part of Tashkent. Visit Amir Temur square and Independence square. After dinner transfer to the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.

Drive from Tashkent towards the village of Saforato (1000 m.). The distance from the main road to the village of Saforato is 7 km, it is about 1.30-2 hours on foot or by minibus. Arrival at the national house where you will spend the night.

Saforato – the beginning of trekking, the ascent to the Saforato pass (2000 m). Descent from the pass to the Rosmas gorge, not a big climb along the stream to the place of spending the night. Overnight in tents (4-5 hours; 12 km).

Ascent along the Bolshoi Rozmas gorge, through the Rozmas pass (2000m), then traverse the Black Stone to the upper Karasai gorge. Descent 200 m. At this point you will be amazed by the whole panorama that opens to the Karasai gorge, you can see the wild herds of Svertsov’s sheep. Then you will descend to the Nakurdsay gorge, continue the route along the Nakurdsay gorge, through the small Nakurd pass. Descent to the Kizilolma gorge, a small climb to the spring. Overnight in tents (5-6 hours; 16 km).

From the place of spending the night ascent to the Parandoz pass, where you can admire the wonderful landscapes of the villages of Khaet and Ukhum, a view of Lake Aydarkul and the peak of Khaetbashi 2169 m (the highest peak in the area). Descent to the Parandoz gorge to the stream, then ascent along the Tikchasai gorge to the place of spending the night (4-5 hours; 14 km).

From the place of spending the night, climb through Shawim hawzi to the top of Khaetbashi. Descent to the Shohchinon gorge to the place of spending the night (5-6 hours, 17 km).

Ascent and passage through the Taror Soy Pass (1600m). Descent to the Sentyab gorge (5-6 hours; 14 km).

Descent along the Sentyab gorge to the village of Sentyab. Accommodation at the national house, on the way, visit the old stone mound, and petroglyphs.  Farewell dinner at the national house (3-4 hours)

Departure to Samarkand. Arrival. Hotel accommodation. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in the hotel.

You will start sightseeing tour in one of the oldest cities in the world, visiting such famous sights as the tomb of Temurids – Gur Emir (1404), Registan Square (1415-1660), which includes three madrassas – Ulugbek (1417), Sher Dor (1636) and Tilla Kori (1660). Then you will walk along the Tashkent street to the famous cathedral mosque built by Amir Temur for his beloved wife – Bibi Khanym (1404). Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast, hotel check – out. Continuation of the tour in Samarkand. Visit the necropolis Shakhi Zinda (14-15 cc.), the medieval observatory of Ulugbek and Samarkand paper factory “Meros”. After lunch drive to Tashkent. Upon arrival, hotel accommodation. Overnight in the hotel.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the International airport and departure.
